If you have found the perfect Public Domain Book but aren't sure how to get it into your word processor so you can make it your own, we have the answer!
We will scan your Public Domain Books, up to 250 pages, at the prices listed in the membership plan.
And trust us! Your books will be treated with the loving care and concern they deserve as the "venerable old gentlemen" they are! We LOVE books and wouldn't dare to bring harm to one.
It is important to note, that because we are dealing with books in the public domain, Profits Publishing reserves the right to upload the books to the Gutenberg Project where others can download it, and/or the Digital Library which allows other to order a printed copy. When we do this, however, we will be uploading ONLY the scanned book as you receive it for editing. In other words, it will be the exact text of the original book that is shared in this way.
Though we know that you might prefer to keep YOUR treasure well hidden, it is, after all, a public domain book. As such, Profits Publishing has absolutely no control over where the text of the book may or may not become available nor where one might be able to find a printed copy of it. The only way to avoid the liability of breaking a committment to our customers is to agree with you, in advance of scanning the book, that we have the right to post the completed text to the Gutenberg Project and/or the Digital Library.
If you do NOT agree to this, please do not ask us to scan the book for you.
